As it turns out, penises enjoy some vibration, too. Who would’ve thought? In 2024, great “guybrators” are few and far between— that is, vibrators specifically designed to fit the male anatomy. But vibrations on your cock can be an acquired taste, so before investing in one these more expensive toys for your partner or yourself, it’s worth having a go with a cheaper wand vibrator. Generally, the best spots for stimulations are the underside and base of your penis—stay away from the ultra-sensitive urethra (your pee hole) unless you know what you’re doing.
If you’re not a fan of vibrations, check out my guide to the best automatic male strokers instead, which let you lie back and let a machine stroke for you. It’s never been a better time to be a lazy wanker.

The Luxury Option: The Nobra Twincharger (€225+)

At €225 to €300 (yes, Euros; this is made in Germany by a small indie maker), the Nobra Twincharger is a clam-like chunk of silicone that grabs your cock and doesn’t let go until it’s extracted what it wants. The magic sauce comes in two enormously powerful motors on either side that can operate together or independently, providing configurable interference patterns with unmatched rumble power on your entire shaft. It’s an unbelievable experience that goes well beyond anything else on this list.
With either an analog controller or optional digital controller, the latter adds Bluetooth connectivity and PC software for customizable patterns. All this power comes at the cost of needing to be plugged in at all times, though, so be careful with the cable.
Designed with only a single joint at the base, it can accommodate any size of penis—just aim to get your head at the end for maximum impact. Read my full review of Nobra Twincharger here, with an accompanying video.
Budget: A Massage Gun & Accessory (<$50)

Though it lacks any finesse or independent motor control, a cheap massage gun and $5 accessory can be just as stimulating as the Nobra—if not more so. I’ve tested a number of accessories with a cheap massage gun, but the “ring pull” style came out on top for value and sensations. If you already have a massage gun, the accessory is less than $5.
Thrusting Vibes: SVibe EVO ($99)
SVibe has made waves (pun intended) in the vibrator community for its innovative Curve vibe, which offers internal G-spot stimulation as well as constant external contact while still being able to fuck it like a dildo thanks to a unique uncurling tip design.
The EVO brings that same concept to your penis. It wraps around a few inches of your shaft, and offers a vibration to both the upper part of your shaft and the head, with greater pressure placed on the head thanks to the “snail” part. It locks in place securely even on smaller penises (though those on the large side might have problems), but still lets you thrust into the head.

At $99 in black or blue, it’s also available as part of a “Power Couple” bundle with the original SVibe Curve included, saving you $20 off the combined purchase price—and you can use the code sextoydb at checkout for 10% off.
The Smart, Affordable Option: Kiiroo Pulse Solo Interactive ($180)

UPDATED: While the interactive Kiiroo version of this toy is no longer sold, you can still purchase the original Hot Octopuss Pulse Solo.
Kiiroo brings its interactive magic to the Hot Octopuss Pulse Solo, an already award-winning small generator based on a pulsating plate that sits directly under your frenulum. Though the stimulation is targeted, it’s certainly not lacking in power. The Kiiroo magic adds an interactive element, connecting to the smartphone app for remote control or syncing to videos.
The only downside I found is that while the silicone “wings” mean it should easily fit average or larger size penises, it’s difficult to keep it in place if you’re smaller than average, requiring you or a partner to hold it there. And while the remote control feature is nice, unlike the Kiiroo Keon which translates on-screen movements to matching automatic stroking, the translation of movements to a sensation of vibrations doesn’t work as well. Avoid These Guybrators
Arcwave Ion
The Ion is an air pulse vibrator, so rather than directly vibrating, it uses a tiny “speaker” to pulse waves of air at you. The clitoris-sucking equivalent offers an almost oral-sex-like experience that most users love, but the Ion just doesn’t seem to hit the same notes. Though I haven’t tried the Arcwave Ion, I’ve used clit-suckers on my head before, and I suspect the problem is that of positioning; it’s hard to get it right even when it’s completely handheld. On a fixed tube that you stick your penis into, it’ll be damn near impossible. While the concept of the hardware is sound, the implementation is iffy, and $200 is a lot to waste on a punt when there are better options. It currently sits at 2.5/5 stars on Amazon.
Cobra Libre II
Sitting currently at 2/5 stars on Amazon, the Cobra Libre is like a little cave of happiness that you stick your dick and let it do its thing. Unfortunately, its thing isn’t much of anything, and most users complain of the lack of stimulation. I own a very similar toy that’s shaped like a mouth, but otherwise just a vibrator; it’s also rather dull.
Manta
Another Fun Factory toy, opinions are divided on this one, but overall reviews are good at 4/5. It looks like a simple wand vibrator with wings on the end, so it should accommodate all sizes. My only concern would be the price; at around $120, it doesn’t offer much more than a basic wand would.
Generic Wand + Penis Massager Attachment
The magic wand is a classic, and if you already have one, you might be thinking about getting a specific penis attachment for the end. They’re basically overpriced rubber tubes, and a waste of money. If anything, I find the tube attachments diminish the experience, lessen the vibrations, and sometimes cause more faff by vibrating themselves right off. There’s nothing wrong with just using a magic wand on your cock—but don’t bother with the extra attachment things.
