The M2 from BeYourLover is a surprisingly advanced automatic thrusting male masturbator, with both dynamic stroke length and speed. And this is actual thrusting of the sleeve, not just stretching or some gimmicky rotation. The sleeve is tight and feels great, the hardware design is fun yet ergonomic, and while the on-device controls are reasonable, especially the push-down turbo mode, the connected app side of things kind of lets it down.

Design
The M2 is pretty immense and bulky, but not as awkward as I was expecting. It’s easy to grab hold of either side, or place one hand on the end. Obviously that’s not hands-free, but it is very ergonomic nonetheless. But to be clear: there’s no hands-free mounting system for this, unlike various other automated masturbators that have optional desk clamps and similar.

The sleeve is open-ended, half-length, and it’s pretty tight. It’s made of TPE, but visually generic. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, as it looks like you could probably swap it out for something else of roughly the same size and shape. There’s no custom locking mechanism other than a small lip of plastic.

You don’t need an app to get started. There are three buttons on the device itself:
- One for power (hold to activate), which also lights up the front in a completely unnecessary yet strangely cool RGB light show
- One next to power that controls stroke position, cycling through base-only, middle, tip-only, or full length
- And on the other side, a speed control button

There’s also one genuinely cool feature: once you’re off speed one, the bumpers on the base activate. If you push into them it engages turbo mode, ramping right up to full speed instantly. That’s really convenient when you’ve been edging for ages and just want to finish. You can naturally push into the M2 and let the machine take over.

TingOn App
The BeYourLover M2 connects exclusively with the TingOn app. I checked for compatibility with Intiface/Buttplug.io and Xtoys, and neither supported it at the time of testing. That may change since the device is new, but for now it’s TingOn only.
Unfortunately, the app is incredibly slow and seems to require login every single time you use it (I tested both Apple and Google versions). I had trouble registering and eventually had to use the Google sign-in option. Even then, it takes a good ten seconds before any actual interface appears. Swapping between app features also takes ages, like everything is being loaded from a remote web server running Windows 3.1 on a potato.

Once you’re actually in, the app is functional enough. It offers a variety of preset modes (each with its own custom RGB patterns!) and a fairly complex way to program your own, which I couldn’t really get my head around. The custom modes use little icons to represent the patterns, but honestly I couldn’t tell how they correlate to what the toy is actually doing. Still, poke around and you’ll probably find something you like.

You’ll also find basic speed control with oscillation between positions, plus the ability to set custom stroke ranges that should save to the device. In practice, it’s hard to tell when those are active.
AI Sync (in theory)
The TingOn app also has an “AI sync” mode. Unlike toys that use proper funscripts embedded from supported websites, TingOn supposedly does all processing locally by recording your screen. You hit start, it records screen activity, and then you navigate to your favourite videos. That precludes any use in Virtual Reality, as it’s all on your smartphone device.
Unfortunately, the AI sync is basically broken, at least in my experience. We found one video where it started moving, but it seemed to correlate more with camera shake than actual on-screen action. Most videos that I thought had obvious in/thrusting action didn’t produce any movement at all.

The Ultimate Male Masturbator? Almost.
In practice, though, I had a lot of fun with the M2. It’s definitely a good automatic masturbator if you want something tight, something that can go nice and slow or pretty fast, something that feels good to hold, and a sleeve that actually does its job. If you’re not too girthy but have a fair bit of length, this should work well for you, too.
I eventually settled on one of the built-in programs that runs the gamut from really slow to really fast, and it was such a tease that it kept me hard for about 15 minutes before I just couldn’t take it anymore. On that note, remember it’s an open-ended sleeve, so things might get messy.
Where the M2 disappoints is the software. The TingOn app is slow and oddly designed — too basic in some areas and too complex in others. It doesn’t offer video syncing through traditional supported methods like funscripts, and instead attempts a weird AI sync approach that just didn’t work for me.
Given the price point, it’s hard to give this a full recommendation. At around $100–$150, it would be an instant buy. At the current price of $190, consider how much you value video interactivity, but otherwise it’s a solid buy. Above $200, though, the Handy or Kiiroo Keon start to offer better value thanks to proper video syncing and a more mature software ecosystem. If you don’t care about the software at all, it’s brilliant. And if you use the coupon code SEXTOYDB20, you’ll get 20% off anyway.
From a hardware perspective, the on-device controls, usability, thrust power, and stroke length are all right up there with the absolute best. If BeYourLover can sort out the software, ideally with a complete rewrite of the TingOn app, no forced login, and proper funscript or Intiface/Xtoys support, this would be a genuinely compelling buy.
