If you fantasize about having alien eggs impregnated into you (who doesn’t?), then I have the dildo for you. Meet Kohana, from Nothosaur Toys. Let’s get messy.

Kohana is an absolutely terrifying ovipositor dildo from Nothosaur Toys, the likes of which HR Giger would be proud. If the word ovipositor has never entered your vocabulary, let me enlighten you. It’s a biology term given to a tube-like organ that’s used to lay eggs, usually by insects, but possibly also by aliens. Parasitic creatures will use it to pierce the body of their victim to lay the eggs inside them.

The shaft of Kohana is a series of long intertwined tentacles, culminating in some claw-like tips. Each tentacle seems to writhe and twist with delicate sucker textures throughout.

Moving toward the base, you see a large petal-shaped maw, perhaps inspired by a Demogorgon and popularized by the Stranger Things series. It’s covered in dimples that, one can only imagine, release neurotoxins to make their prey more vulnerable to potential breeding opportunities.

How on Earth Does This Work?

Let’s talk about the oviposition function. The center of Kohana is hollowed out completely, from the tip to the base, making it a little more squishy than usual, but that can’t be helped.

Whether it’s for your pleasure or serves to ensure eggs dont fall out while inside, the hole is ribbed. Perhaps it’s also intended that you can fuck it, either when it’s inside someone else or just as a masturbation sleeve.

The package includes three sizes of egg mold and an insertion rod. The tool’s concave shape on the end enables it to grab hold of whatever ball or egg-shaped thing you’ve inserted.

Although you can be safely subjected to oviposition vaginally with some silicone eggs (not supplied), for anal use, you’ll need to make your own gelatine eggs with the molds provided. Gelatine eggs are also safe for vaginal use, as long as you avoid dyes or sugars (look for unflavoured gelatine), but for anal use, they are essential. Getting anything stuck in your bum is very bad news, and gelatine dissolves at body temperature, so it’s perfectly safe to get one stuck.

I picked up a tub of food-safe gelatine powder on Amazon. To make the eggs, I used a recipe of about 60g of gelatine powder to 1 cup or 240ml of cold water. Stir constantly, and let it sit for 10 minutes at room temperature, after which it should have solidified. Then gently heat it on low until everything is dissolved, again stirring constantly. Don’t let it boil, though.

Finally, pour some into the base of the mold using a syringe, attach the top gently, then fill the top half and chill in the refrigerator for several hours. This mix ratio was just enough to fill both the large and medium-sized egg molds with a little left over.

Again, for vaginal use, Nothosaur sells a separate set of silicone eggs.

Kohana is available in three sizes, ranging from 5.1 inches insertable and 1.7 inches in diameter to 7 inches insertable and 2.7 inches diameter. Featured here is the Medium size, which is somewhere in between the two. It also has three colors (Red Moon, Violet, and Space Blood as reviewed), though as with all Nothosaur Toys, custom colors are also available.

How Does It Feel?

This is my first ovipositor, and it’s a … unique experience. It’s a lot more involved than just enjoying a dildo—not only making the eggs but trying to position yourself to insert them; having a partner helps, of course. But you can’t get pegged with Kohana or attach it to a fucking machine, so your play options are limited.

Since the end isn’t tapered and it’s quite flexible because of the hole in the core, I found it difficult to insert and ended up having to fold it over to create something a bit more solid. But once it was in, the textured exterior helps it to stay in nicely and didn’t fold in on itself as I had expected it to; it does maintain its structure well.

Words fail me here when it comes to describing the experience, and it won’t be for everyone. There is so much to it, from the initial insertion, to feeling the eggs moving up the shaft while it’s in you, then having them pop out at the end of the shaft. Then, when you’re done, you might choose to expel little cold, wet eggs, but there’s also the slightly terrifying feeling of getting one stuck… but realizing you’ll be fine, and just have a gloopy mess to deal with later.

I also found that the sensation of the insertion rod pushing through the ribbed inner hole was perhaps even more intense. Of course, once Kohana is in, it acts like a tunnel plug, so you’re not limited to playing with eggs. You could be fucked by something more substantial, or pour in other fluids.

There’s so much to process and unpack here!

Safety Concerns

Gelatin eggs dissolve fairly quickly in the presence of moisture and body heat, leaving only a sticky mess. Really sticky, actually—you’ll want to jump in the shower after, and be careful with any sneaky farts for the next few hours lest they become something a little more! In the name of science, I deliberately left a few up there; sure enough, there were no ill effects.

If you’re ejecting and reinserting eggs, you should expect to get five to ten attempts before the eggs disintegrate.

It’s worth noting that vegan gelatine doesn’t work as well, so if you’re uncomfortable with using something derived from animal products, I’m afraid having eggs inserted into you anally via an alien ovipositor is perhaps one fantasy you should take off the bucket list.

Your Alien Impregnation Fantasies Are Finally Doable

Kohana is an incredible and only slightly disgusting design, which might be exactly what you’ve been fantasizing about. In three sizes, the package includes the egg molds and pushing rod—just add gelatin.

Given all the prep needed (you’ll to wait several hours at least after making the eggs!), this isn’t going to be your daily fuck. But fucking hell, it’s an unforgettable experience when you do get the time to play with Kohana.
